Position Overview: We seek skilled and reliable Security Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing security alarm systems. You will ensure that our client's security systems work optimally and provide outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Configuration:
  • Install and configure security systems, including surveillance cameras,
    access control systems, fire detection systems, intercom systems, and
    environmental sensors.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the optimal placement and
    setup of security equipment.
  • Ensure that all installations are performed according to company standards
    and adhere to client specifications.
• Maintenance and Repairs:
  • Perform routine maintenance on security systems to ensure optimal
    performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems, including diagnosing
    issues with hardware and software.
• Customer Interaction:
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their security needs and
    provide solutions.
  • Educate clients on the operation and features of their security systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Complete service reports and update client information as needed.
• Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in security technology and industry best
    practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Proven experience as a security alarm technician or similar role.
  • Familiarity with various security systems, including alarms, cameras, and
    access control systems.
• Skills:
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in
    security systems is a plus.
• Licenses:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses required by local regulations (e.g., alarm
    technician certification).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working in various environmental conditions (e.g., indoors, outdoors, confined
  spaces).
• Ability to work on ladders and perform tasks at heights.
